Review summary

We sailed out of Ft. Lauderdale on Radiance of the Seas. The ship was gorgeous. Our room was great, we upgraded to a deluxe balcony. My only complaint was that the shower was so small. On our Holland America cruise, we actually had a tub and shower in our cabin. There were two upscale restaurants on the ship and we went to one of them twice and the other once. They were incredible. The service was so special. We were with another couple, and we all felt that the food in the main dining room wasn't as good as we had had on the Holland America cruise. The food in the buffet style cafe' however was wonderful. The pool area was big with lots of room for lots of people. We would definately take a cruise on this ship again.

In Cozumel, we took a bus trip out to a beautiful island Called Passion Island. It was a gorgeous beach. They gave us a wonderful lunch and free drinks. The lunch was great - the mixed drinks were awful. Our tour guide was the best. He remembered everyones name on the bus, even when we were sitting on the beach, he would come up to us and call us by name. He was a lot of fun.

Key West, Florida

Very cold when we got there. We weren't dressed for such a cold day. Not much to see. Lots of touristy shops. I was expecting to see a beautiful quaint city. It didn't do anything for me.

Montego Bay, Jamaica

In Montego Bay we took a two hour cab drive. The driver was great and took us all over the island. We got some great pictures. We heard after we got back, that you have to be careful who you get in a car with on this island.

George Town, Grand Cayman

The guys went to an outside bar and had a coupel of beers. It was very very hot here, so the girls decided to go back to the ship. Just a lot of tourist traps again. If you wanted to buy some jewelry, you were OK, but that was about it.

Pros: Our room was so nice. We loved the 2 upscale resturants. Great pool area

Cons: The shower in our cabin was very small. On Holland America, we had a tub and shower.
