Review summary

Great cruise overall. The ship was at capacity but didn't feel like it except by the pools. Staff were all exemplary and customer focused. The shows by the singers and dancers we have seen often time for a change I think.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and painless, whisked rapidly through and onto the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in the Queens Gtill. Food was terrific, the a la carte menu offered additional tempting treats. Service was first rate

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was plenty to do but we used the pools and gym/sauna which were very good. Good exercise machines and a variety of classes some free

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Cunard singers and dancers were average but we enjoyed the shows even though we have seen them before. The headline acts were run of the mill seen before with the exception of Rewind project who were terrific not often do you see a standing ovation and lots of folk who stayed from the early show to watch again on both the nights they played. The McDonald brothers (yes from X factor ) were also good on their two night performances

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone on board was customer focused, helpful friendly and ready to do whatever they could to make the cruise memorable

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Layout is good easy to navigate. Public areas well kept and clean, with the exception of the decks which always seemed grubby

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Beautiful spacious suite, two loungers on the large balcony. Very comfortable and well kept.

Ship tip

Make full use of all of the facilities on board, watch out for upswell of wine and drinks
