Quantum of the Seas was everything I dreamed of it being. On this 7 day cruise I only saw I line that was when we waiting in Malacca for the tender boats to take us from land to shore. That was very disorganised. But we were informed this was the first time such a large ship has tendered to this city and may not have prepared themselves. Note: your Star or Sky or Key class will assist you with the tender boats. You will need to stay in line.

I had Star class, so when I arrived at the terminal with 5 of my family members who are Sky class we were all ushered into the Star lounge for refreshments and all our paperwork was processed.
Once cleared through customs we were quickly escorted onto the ship. I believe it only took around half an hour. I have never been on a ship where you can enter so quickly. We were taken straight to my cabin the Owners Loft Suite where a bottle of Moët Chandon was waiting and an assortment of canapés we’re waiting. The staff are absolutely amazing.

I’m still currently on the the cruise and will be on the next cruise 9.1.20
Windjammer- This would probably be on of the best buffets I have come across. It’s never full. Food is removed and restocked after 30 minutes. The selection is Western, Asian and Indian.
Harp & Horn - absolutely amazing Spicy whole fish. Great snacks
Izumi- I eat here every day. It’s great Japanese.
Jamie’s Italian- spectacular if your after a BIG Italian meal. Such value for money
Solarium- Hot pot, very different as I am from Australia, but it was great!
Chops - delicious steaks, I will eat there again tonight
Coastal Kitchen- Good food, after a first average meals they stepped up the quality of their meals.

My husband and I did the iFLY and the Flowrider. So much fun. We look forward to doing it a few more times on the next cruise that starts tomorrow

Our Royal Genie Eli has been a absolutely wonderful. She has assisted my husband, child and myself in every wish. She has even extended the assistance to my family who are staying in the Royal Sky Class. I’m so grateful.
Our Room attendant Butu was just the kindest man. Always wanting to help.
All staff speak English and love to have a chat.

The ship design is monstrous. I have never seen such a ship. 7 days and I still hadn’t explored the whole ship. It’s just so big.
Absolutely no complaints.
I was lucky enough to book the Owners Loft Suite 8720 and my sister book the loft next door. Sky Loft Suite 8722. They opened up our balconies so I was the same size as the Royal Loft suite. Such a great idea! But 2 completely different bedrooms.

Yes Grand suites will be a Genie. Your RC genie will contact you about 6 weeks prior to sailing to confirm any special requests and a questionnaire so they can help plan your holiday experience. Hope you have a wonderful time!
So excited she is berthing in Brisbane in 2021! We are booked in Jan 2022 and can't wait! Can you book a Genie from Grand Suites or only Loft Suites? 🙌
I was on the same cruise and enjoyed it immensely. Only thing I have a different opinion on is the entertainment. I thought this was poor, but this is partly due to RCL trying to accommodate the tastes of such a cosmopolitan group of cruisers
