A: Typically, not until a few days till embarking. They have to wait until everyone who gets to pick their location has picked. The leftover cabins that know one wanted then are divided up among the Guaranteed cabins.

A: If you’ve booked a guaranteed cabin you might not find out which cabin you are assigned until you check in at the port. However it usually happens before than but there is not standard start day when they assign them.

A: it depends. if you picked your room (which cost more then letting Royal Caribbean pick your room) then you get your room assigned to you right away. But if you let them pick your room, you'll probably receive your assignment 3 weeks before you sail.

A: We once booked guaranteed room, we only got a cabin three days before cruising on Quantum. Q: Has anyone stayed in 10618? It’s a J3 suite. I’m wondering if it has the split bathrooms like the J4 suites do. I’ve looked at pictures, videos and lots of google searches only to find conflicting information. Just trying to plan on what to pack, in case my daughter gets her own “bathroom” (I know it wouldn’t have a shower) in the suite or not.

Q: Why we do not have a room yet. We leave in 12 days. I asked if was are age and being poor was that the reason. They did not answer,My husband and I are in our 70 plus and poor because of S.S. We have saved money for this trip for years. Also our son is traveling with us because of age and health, a year ago I asked if he could be close to us was told More Money, Our son wanted a balcony room we just wanted a port whole. I looked at the ship decks I found decks 8,9,10 and 11 pink and purple had the both kind of rooms we both wanted. No answer at no help Not Very Happy with Royal Caribbean at all. We haven’t left yet. Mad mad as hell.

A: You may not get an assigned room until the day of. I do not book guaranteed rooms, but that is how they do them. There's no need to get angry. They will have a room for you. They have no idea if you are rich or poor.

A: When you book a guaranteed room, they will assign it to you once you get there. Now, it’s not guaranteed that you will be close to your son, but I hear that you can try to change it. My advice is to ask them to give you a room as close as they can fr... om your son and they may be able to help. Don’t get frustrated, it’s like that with most cruise lines I believe. I see it all the time. I have been tempted to book it, but since I don’t like to be in the back, I just pay a little more and select the room I want. By the way, I’ll be in that cruise too!See More

Q: who has been to the Endicott arm hawes glacier in Juneau? Did RC offer coffee or cocoa while looking at the glaciers on deck? Did they do anything special while there?

A: Just got of Quantum Monday. unfortunately, we didn't make it up Endicott Arm to Dawes glacier because of fog and numerous large icebergs preventing the ship from getting through. We were to cruise from 5am to 10am but had exited out of the arm before... 7am and made our way to Juneau. Coffee, tea, water and juice can be found in the Windjammer or delivered to your cabin.See More

Q: Does anyone have photos of cabin 10228? Is a Balcony Category 1D 2pp got a Lounge and 4D 4pp got a Sofa-bed? Are 1D and 2D same size room or is 2D bigger ? Been at that point of boat is the view and positioning as good as a room in the middle of Midship location?
