Review summary
We enjoyed talking to Linda who encouraged us to participate in all the activities. She is a great hostess for your programs and is most helpful. The shows were great and the cast very friendly and up-beat. The dining was excellent as was the staff. The staff that took care of the rooms was very efficient and also very helpful.
We have been with Holland America before and have met Kevin on both cruises. Obviously, your staff is encouraged to sell the excursions and tours, However, we have always been able to, with the participation of the cruise line, use information and instruction to go ashore and enjoy the sites. It is evident that Kevin did not actually go into the field and check out the instructions he was giving to the guests. Some great attention should be given to this problem. This was a great disappointment to us.
Having said this, we certainly would cruise with Holland American again. And we would recommend it to friends.

Ship tip
The Prinsendam has been beautifully renovated. It is a small ship and you will get to know many of the guests by sight. Very comfortable and plenty to do. You will never be bored.
