Saved up for this one and well worth it. Met people that had done this cruise line 15 and 30 times. That is a bit extreme as it is a big world. But, we do want to return and take one of the longer cruises. It was noted that the islands are like Hawaii was 50 years ago. Relaxing and tropical.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
They were pretty slow checking us in. A long line of us in the tropical sun, theee people to check you in, but only one had the manifest. Disorganized.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was all around great. And the service was amazing. The only one that did not impress in all fronts was the French dinner.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
A small ship where it is all about the ports. So not that many activities, but you know that going in. The gym was fine, the pool ok. We spent lots of time in our ports.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We loved, loved, loved the evening when the crew did a talent show. Was so much fun to see them up there and most were really good. They brought in two sets of dance groups that were fantastic. Which was good. Got a little tired of Polynesian dancing by the end.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Best crew and service of any ship we have been in by far. They were so friendly but also so attentive. They help make the brand for sure.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
It was laid out well and clean. She is 22 years old and showing her age in some spots.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Standard size room. Large bathroom and shower. No tub. Tons of storage. We selected an aft cabin for a larger deck and appreciated that. Can hear neighbors at times.
Ship tip
Don’t rush over at 3 pm. Let that mob get in and then arrive. And, do it!
We stayed at resort for a day ahead and after. Had an excursion after cruise to see some sights and was not that impressive. Largest city in the islands so not idyllic.
Stayed two days. Did resort for a day that was fantastic and relaxing and then did a snorkel tour where we swam with sharks. That ended up being our favorite excursion.
