Review summary

This trip was amazing! From the pre cruise 3 night stay in the over the water bungalows in Bora Bora to the 10 nights on the M/S Paul Gauguin everything was perfect. The crew & service was exceptional & the smaller ship with only 332 passengers made it more personable.

We just can't say enough good things about the whole experience.

Highly recommend it & plan on going on more Paul Gauguin cruises!

Our 4th cruise on Paul Gauguin, 15th visit to Society Islands & 168 cruises in all for me. PG does an outstanding job in every area, the Tahitian & Filipino Staff are courteous & everyone makes sure a great time is had by all. The destination is one of a kind & we never get tired of going back time after time since we know what to expect onboard & ashore. Ship is small but cozy & easy to get around. If you're looking for black pearls, don't buy in one of the high-end stores, buy them ashore from some of the locals you'll see ashore. They're loose & unpolished but your jeweler can turn them into a masterpiece. Bargaining is necessary, prices will be from $15 up to $50. And best of all , their is no duty taking them home if they're loose stones. Set in jewelry is another story, a pricey one! Enjoy your cruise in paradise!!
