Still love RCI. But will not be on the Ovation again. A slightly disappointing cruise. But we are going on the Symphony is April.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Chops was good. The rest of the food was mediocre. We had several issues with the main dining room and, to their credit, they tried very hard to fix it. One night we came to our assigned dining table and someone else came in and sat at it. We were the ones who were asked to wait while they found another table for us.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Not enough to do on the ship. Went to trivia contests which we enjoyed.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The man who played in the bar was very good! Enjoyed his Billy Joel and Elvis and Elton John singing. Pixels was a huge disappointment. We couldn’t figure out the point of the production.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Our cabin steward, Eloy was excellent! So very helpful. The rest of the crew were nice.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was very clean. The elevator situation was atrocious. Always crowded. Long waits.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved it.

Ship tip

I wouldn’t recommend this ship to them. If this is what this particular class of ships is like I would recommend the Navigator, which we loved. Also loved the Symphony. The elevators and disembarking mess is enough to not make me return to the O action.
