Review summary

Everything was ok .

Shows are bad.

The quality of the food terrible.( 5 people around us the were trying

to chew the lambchops but the pulled out of their mouth to their plates

I try chicken it was very rough too) Real bad

We have just got off this ship in Beijing after 12 days. I agree with the above comment. The food was very average. One Menu change in the 12 days! The day tours were a joke and were a nightmare. There was no leadership when suspected person overboard. No cocktail evening when advertised 3-4. There were many disappointed people on the boat.

Hi jmckay.... This will be an awesome trip and the ports are wonderful. Have done cruising to New Zealand a few years ago but there are 2 ports we haven't seen on this trip...... Looking forward to going on board. May see you on board :-)

I agree, all ships will have a different experience but I cruise to enjoy. I have just been on the repositioning cruise to Singapore on RC Voyager of the seas. It was marvelous. I too am going to NZ in January and I am so excited and I expect to have a wonderful time. I loved the food the shows the beautiful design the entertainment everything.

I've been on around 20 cruises with different cruise lines. I have never had a bad cruise. I will be on the Ovation in January and I expect that I will have a great time. I am one who always sees the glass half FULL.

We are booked on the NYE cruise from Sydney Australia December and we have heard great reviews. Glen from Royal Caribbean cruised on the Ovation and the reviews that he done were awesome....

I have been cruising 17 years and I can say without a shadow of doubt the ovation is the worst cruise have ever done. Southampton to Barsalona 7 days .The food in silk restaurant was inedible the staff gloomy. The state room drawers were still full of rubish left by previous ocupants .If you all say it's improved that's because of me and 2000 other folk complaining the staff were not interested in English passenger's at all^ . ( I have cruised on most R.C.I.ships)

Im on ovation at present the food is best ive experienced on a ship not had a single bad meal and the production shows are real quality especially live long legs

Mikemi, is entitled to an opinion, but lacks cruise experience to make such unfounded allegations made on this post, what did you expect & what are you comparing Ovation of the Seas to, Mikemi ? you have nothing to compare her to Your experience lacks any form of credibility in expectations.

Ovation of the Seas is the Third & newest in the Quantum Class in Royal Caribbean's Fleet, she is the 4th largest ship ever to be built, her maiden voyage was 14th April 2016, any new ship has its teething problems, but sorry, there has been nothing but great reviews of this ship, which will be home ported out of Sydney Australia December 2016 after itineraries completed out of Chinese ports.

Hmm, cruise history says it all for this one hit wonder cruiser ! Please supply any further evidence to substantiate your complaints, there had not been any posted, since I can't remember when !

Sounds like fat to me, how could they make such an informed observation unless they were sitting beside them, sorry I have never heard or seen such complaints about food on this ship ! It's whinge & complain, nothing more, nothing less, as I said cruising is not for them obviously, They will soon find out in about 8 hours, when the masses see this post ! Mark my words ! :-)

I think this person means they pulled the meat out of their mouth because it was too tough to chew, not that they were eating it off the bone.
