Review summary

This cruise was very special for us as we celebrate our marriage of 27 years.The ship is georgeous a wonderful piece of art and well designed.Having cruised before on several occasions, the new restaurant concept was one of me difficulty.I have been accustomed to the family atmosphere table for a week with the same waiter and waitress. This cruise also made me qualify for the Emerald Status.

Ray2358 that is a very bias and unfair statement with no evidence!! Either say nothing and allow Marando59 experience the ship for themselves or at least give constructive criticism so that they can make an informed decision if they should book or not!! Such an unhelpful post... Marando59 I am not the most experienced cruiser but I do know that Ovation was my first cruise, I payed my gratitudes upfront and unlike other cruise lines on RC it covers bar staff I believe and I did not have to worry about tipping anyone my whole trip it was the best thing I did! So in answer to your question I would say yes pay it upfront that way you need not worry. Hope that helps :-)

If this is the ovation of the seas give it a wide berth crap ship also unless your chineese wont like it . Been on it and rubbish

Does any one know if you should pay the gratitude up front when you book or is it best to tip each day. I'm a bit confused with this part. Some say prepay, if so do you still have to tip . Thanks.
