Very relaxing. Was impressed with Holland America. We are pretty quiet people and found that the ship fit with us very well.

First cruise so we didn’t know what to expect. Have to say it was much better than people have said. Not crowded and getting on and off ship was a breeze. Food was good.

The ports we visited were great. Saw whales and seals along the way.

Very satisfied our expectation for a very relaxing trip was fulfilled, love the overall friendliness and helpfulness of service staffs- with special mention of people like Wedyia, Ibrahim, Eula , Paul and Alfred. We wish there were better entertainment with more uplifting shows of song and dance.

Excellent first cruise to Alaska (though we have almost 30 cruises other places). HAL is a bit old school and more quiet, but the crew are fantastic and we enjoyed ourselves. Will be back.

The cruise was excellent paired with splendid weather, especially in Juneau on the Gletscher.

You get what you paid for with Holland America Oosterdam. Carnival and Norwegian would probably a better choice if I were to visit Alaska via cruise ship. Oosterdam Holland America have too many hidden fees. Be sure to ask for price different between a waiter or server since my mineral water bottle is $5.75 from a waiter vs $6.33 from a server. I got charge $6.33 for a glass of juice when playing slot in the casino and this is ridiculous.

Loved the cruise except for the dining and entertainment experience. Seemed like Holland was doing cost cutting in these areas and led to our overall disappointment with the trip. Since this is a major component of any cruise our personal overall rating is 2+ which is much lower than the computer generated average score for this website.

Excellent cruise if you want to spend a lot of time with family. Friendly staff, clean interiors. Not too impressed with the spa and its staff but over all experience was wonderful. Highly recommend Holland America.

All the staff was friendly, the boat has the perfect size, very clean, the food in the dining room was good, but at the buffet was not good.

It was a fun one night cruise from Vancouver to Seattle! Ship was nice!

I loved being on the cruise and the people I met, but the customer service was terrible despite the fact that the servers, waiters, stewards were all exceptional. I will go back again and in fact booked my next cruise while on board but was able to pick my own room this time and will to have two men outside my window all day!

Very nice ship but I wanted more activities on board. This is a cruise for older people, service was excellent. Entertainment was good but all done by 11:30 and things closed by midnight. Nice restaurants and dining, shows were good. Ports were ok.

This was a mother/daughter cruise. My daughter is a state social worker and needed to relax. This cruise fit the bill! We enjoyed every minute of it especially the spa! We had so much fun that we are planning to hopefully go the same time next year to Cuba!

This trip was a wonderful getaway from the responsibilities of life. It was just nice to not have to worry about a thing! The food was excellent! The staff were so welcoming. The only complaint I have would be the entertainment and activities at night. I would have enjoyed more shows including dancing, or just different activities to be made available. Overall it was a great trip!

It was a great relaxing trip. Not for a younger, energetic crowd though.

The Oosterdam brought us to beautiful locations and was enjoyable to sail on every day. We were comfortable, felt safe, and had a great time. The private island in the Bahamas was the best part! Absolutely stunning!

We went on this cruise for our 35th wedding anniversary. We loved our room. We found the crowd to be older, and food to be just ok and the entertainment to be terrible. We loved all the ports we stopped in and kept busy there. We enjoyed the casino but were definitely looking for more venues/bands/musical entertainment as well as a nice stage show. It was difficult to communicate with the crew.
