All the cruise lines have scaled back the main dining room in an effort to get people to pay extra for the specialty restaurants. However, HAL's food is quite tasty, even though it isn't quite what it used to be.

Limited activities. They roll up the sidewalks at 11 p.m.

The ventriloquist was good. Lincoln Center was amazing. Other than that... not up to par with other lines.

Yes. Agree that it was a much slower pace onboarding and more mature cruisers. It was our first cruise. Have now done several. Love the energy on Carnival. Royal is nice and better evening shows but more expensive.
