It was the first cruise I’ve taken alone. Was nervous, but that soon was replaced by enjoyment and relaxation.

Visiting Hawaii was great. As a veteran the trip to Pearl Harbor was a sobering experience. The food and entertainment on the ship was lacking from last cruise experience.

I learned so much from this trip-I want to take my new found knowledge and try another cruise with luggage. This trip I felt I spent most of my time trying to find my luggage or searching for clothes that would fit. This was my second solo cruise and Holland America does a great job of making singles feel comfortable. They had special activities so you could meet other solo or single travelers.

This was a beautiful ship with wonderful ports of call. Not a lot to do on the ship itself- bring a couple good books! Very relaxing. Alaska was a dream. Will definitely return to visit more there.

Relaxing cruise that pampers you and gives you a “taste” of Alaska. A rugged and inspiring place

I was stunned to see a bill at the door last day of almost $1500 for all the assorted charges - they charged about $15 a day per person for the room to be cleaned... in the Crows Nest coffee, tea, etc, was not free as it was around the ship... felt nickeled and dimed all throughout. I could have taken my daughter to Europe for what this entire cruise cost us.

overall for my fiance and I's first cruise it was overall great. they need to put a off button on the headboard speaker for people who are not early risers.

Nice visit to Alaska; great weather, on our week; smooth waters; etc ...

It was a spectacular experience seeing the glacier, wildlife from the ship, and the incredible ports. There were many excursion choices for all people.

Overall it was an excellent cruise. However it was more scenic and surrounding was quiet. It was unlike a Caribbean cruise where the party was non-stop and there was continuous music and entertainment on the Lido Deck. Cruising Alaska is an experience everyone should have in their lives. Thanks to the Captain and crew for a job well done

Alaska was a surprise to me. Some of the areas experience a winter not much different that what I experience in Maryland. It's just that their summers are definitely cooler. It's such a wild and wonderful place. There are such nice people there. The flowers seem especially bright, perhaps because they don't have to fight the heat and get sunburned. It's a place worth returning to. Holland America line is a step above some others I've cruised.

Great cruise to Alaska. Small Ship and great crew. The food could have been better but the service and staff compensated for it. The entertainment was great and the cabins nice and comfortable. The views in Alaska were amazing and we had a great time viewing whales form the observation deck. I would do this cruise again .

The best part of the cruise was the staff. Friendliest I have ever experienced. Always there to greet and please.

My husband and I have been on numerous cruises and this was our first Holland cruise and it was by far the worst cruise. The food was HORRIBLE and DISGUSTING!! The only things edible were the Dive, salad bar and ice cream. When you pay for a cruise with food included in the price you are looking for food that you can eat without feeling like you have to regurgitate. I always assumed that if cooking dinner was hard the least one could do was cook a decent breakfast. The breakfast was terrible. For example, the scrambled eggs taste worse than powdered eggs (how is that possible...) and the regular bacon taste like it was boiled. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we made reservations at the Canaletto. We were under the assumption that the food would be better than the Lido and the main dining. Canaletto's food was miserably bad on a scale 1-10, it was a zero. My husband and I took one bite of our food and left the restaurant.

Have wanted to visit Alaska for a long time and am glad I have finally got to see it with Holland America.

I wish this would have been a better experience as we looked forward to it for a year. Perhaps had our agent not been useless and we would have gone into it more prepared, it would have been better as far as our attitude goes. Nice enough and probably GREAT for a first time cruiser or a cruiser who has never sailed on a better quality line.

Great views. Old ship in need of many updates. Great friendly staff. Food was okay but not great, even in the specialty restaurants.

This cruise delivered more than my mom and I could have hoped for. This was our third and longest together and by far the best. We live in the PNW so we know how beautiful it is, but nothing compares to seeing it from a cruise ship in Alaska. And the way the Captain moved the ship away from Hubbard sideways!! It's like every element of this experience was thought about and put together flawlessly. We couldn't have been more grateful for everyone's efforts to make my mother's Christmas present and my birthday the most memorable on record. See you in 2021 for some more cold sailing!

Very relaxing. Was impressed with Holland America. We are pretty quiet people and found that the ship fit with us very well.
