Ship was very clean and service was exceptional

The variety of daily activities was very impressive. The Cruise Director was very helpful, respectful and professional.

the crew and staff were excellent, very knowledgeable and courteous.

We felt like we were in wonderland. The ship was beautiful and the service was impeccable. As non smokers we couldn't enjoy much of the night activities. We did not care for the buffet; however, the restaurants were great. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get back to nature and see the most incredible sights on earth.

Understaffing at dinner

It was well kept and everyone was incredibly friendly.

The ship was very clean, although the carpet and chair in the stateroom were a bit shabby. However, the stateroom was kept very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the Pinnacle Restaurant was excellent. Although it was an additional price, it was well worth it. The food in the Vista Dining Room was good, but not to the level of the Pinnacle.

We recently sailed the Oosterdam and have never saied with Holland. We were worried that the childrens program wouldn't be good. My 5 yr old loved the program. We would recommend this cruise to anyone with or without children. The ship is very classy and the hospitality is wonderful. We enjoyed the dining. Even the lito deck dining was very nice. We have cruised with other lines and we will cruise with Holland again.

The ship was very clean and had great entertainment.

The ship itself was great, so were all the people that work there. The shows were entertaining, the food was good and varied, some of the tours were less than what I expected.

the ship's decor is retro '60s very outdated - the only comfortable seat on the ship was the lounge on deck 10. Main dining room food: long wordy enticing foreign worded descriptions - poor quality. The best food was on Lido deck.

The entire crew was helpful, friendly and acted like they really liked their jobs. Our room was spotless and always clean wjen we returned after a day out. The food was wonderful from the Surf and Turf dinner down to the cheeseburgers... There were so many activities to do and the entertainment was wonderful..We can't wait to go back!!!!

Lots of choices for activities, though I mostly enjoyed sitting quietly on my balcony and looking at the beautiful coast of Alaska.

The Oosterdam is a beautiful ship. Very clean with the most friendliest crew.

We went on the Holland America Oosterdam, July 10 - July 17th, 2011. We visited the Glaciers, Juneau, Sitka, Ketchican, and Victoria, BC... It was very relaxing and enjoyable - we met some nice people and have become friends and will stay in touch with them. I liked Ketchican probably the best, but it was all new to us and great to visit.

This was our second cruise. We were very impressed with the service, the ship, and the food. We found the beds too hard, and they fixed that. They asked if we wanted our beds together or apart, and they took care of that. They discovered some problems in the room and ordered them to be fixed before we got around to it. Always smiling, always helpful! We liked Open Seating a lot, and their Pinnacle Grille was fantastic! We mostly went to rest, and had one of those rooms with the sliding glass door and a veranda overlooking the ocean. WOW! Room had love seat and a chair, plenty of places to sit, plenty of light, and very quiet at night for sleeping. The excellent treatment started in the loading area on the dock and continued until we left the dock area - not just on the ship! Well done, Holland America!

We had a very wonderful cruise. We are anxious to go on another one.
