Review summary

We had a wonderful time on this cruise, definitely a relaxing time with good food.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Everything went smoothly even though there were so many people waiting.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room food and service was excellent. They even had a separate menu for vegetarian/vegan which I ordered from each evening, plus the food was tasty and so many options to choose from.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Activities were good and offered a decent variety if you chose to participate.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Comedians were good, BB Kings good, only main complaint was the musician singing the Beatles which was basically karaoke on which we walked out.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was excellent. Dining room servers couldn’t do enough for you, they even made sure I had a fruit plate for dessert even if not on menu. Cabin stewards were wonderful, made sure we had a basket of fruit each day. Everyone was so polite and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is well maintained and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Was surprised how spacious and it had three closets with more than enough space to store everything in.

Ports of call

San Diego, California

5 out of 5
We actually stayed in San Diego for 5 days after the cruise, a great town with perfect weather.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
To get into port you need to take a tether from/to the ship. Around the port is basically a tourist attraction but once you get always from it, it’s wonderful. Excursion was arranged by ship which was good and ensured we would be back in time to catch the tether.

Mazatlan, Mexico

5 out of 5
If you can, take an excursion away from the port area. Our excursion took us into the mountains into what the locals say “the real Mexico”. We went to a stable where they train dancing horses, a small family owned tequila factory, area where they honor “day of the dead” and finally a little town for an excellent Mexican meal.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
easy to get to your excursion from this port. Our excursion took us to many different areas which were pretty congested and we ended up at a Mexican restaurant on a cliff for lunch. Once again, the excursion was informative and you learned a lot about the area.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Just wait till your color/number is called and then the process is easy getting off and going to the color location for your bags.
