There were a lot of Phillipine youth working on this ship, and they were all so nice and gracious. My luggage was stolen on a past cruise. I really trusted the employees on the MS Oosterdam.

We rented our own boat and driver, and saw many whales. So exciting!
Don't Miss: The whales!

We rode the trolley to town for sight seeing, but then caught one of the little VW open top taxis. This was probably the most fun of our trip. He really showed us around town.

We rented our own driver and he was just great. He took us to see many things, including Elizabeth Taylor's house, the Stephen Spielberg house (where my sister and husband stayed about 6 months ago). We loved it. He took us to a special Mexican restaurant by the river.

Pros: The beds were nice and the pillows were good.

Cons: The atrium wasn't as nice as some other ships, but that's okay.

Recommends Oosterdam? Yes!
