7 Night Alaskan Explorer With Hubbard Glacier (Seattle Roundtrip)
Sail Date: September 16, 2006
Ship: Oosterdam
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Singles/Friends

The ship was beautiful. You could not fault the elegant of the decor.
The food was plentiful and the salmon dishes were excellent. I felt the presentation in the Lido was very "cafeteria" - and not as well done as in the dining room. The constant smell of garlic was somewhat annoying, especially when eating dessert.
I liked the craft classes and the shore talks. Evening entertainment was enjoyable but the musical numbers were far too loud. I used earplugs.

We docked at 7.30 p.m. It was dark within minutes. Did not disembark even though Victoria is one of our favorite cities.
