We have traveled with 3 different cruise lines. Holland America being the best in every respect. The personel beginning with the embarcation, on board, food and beverage, entertainment, service in general including maintenance are highly professional and polite. Percentage wise these folks have the highest of best all around personnel in the seas.
Other lines also have good and great but in lesser numbers.
We feel at home and with family everytime we travel Holland America.

Considering the space limitations, the motion of the vessel, these folks do great, fantastic accomplishments. The quality and caliper of the shows is
up there, with the best at seas.

The best of the best. From Red Coat support at the air port and embarcation to the day that unfortunatelly we must part.
These teams are the reason why HAL has such a high return and new
followers. Word of mouth is powerfull.

Extremelly well kept. The deck hallways are not bruised by excess luggage handling. Housekeeping and maintenance are priorities.

Remarkable cleanliness, efficiency and sense of ownership. Always demostrate sincere friendliness.
We love nature tours, bird watching, and minor shopping for friends and relatives. So chose an activity that will allow you to do both.
We do not visit restaurants, we try not to drink the local beverages except
for a bottled beer perhaps.
Between December and March, whale watching our No. 1 sport.
We recommend to arrange port excursions only through Holland America for your own safety and so the ship will not leave without you.
Don't ever "just take a taxi and ask them to show you around" be safe.
Mazatlan has grown much more than we like to admit. However, we saw a
show with the Papantla Flyers and more and we were very happily surprised. Much more than we expected...by far.
