Review summary

The ship and it's staff were most gracious, clean, shinny and always courtious . . .

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Some items are prepared bland, of course you can't meet everyones spicy palet; however everything was always presented as a work of editable art. Bring your own bottle of Chahula sauce :-)

Entertainment

5 out of 5
fabulous, you got'a see it all, don't miss the shows just because you're tired, get your bum out of the room and see the shows

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
other than some language barriers, the staff were always helpful and courtious

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Small and personal, yet big and full of much to do

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Anything other than a veranda room and you'll feel very shorted, our group had mixes of both, varanda and inside stateroom. Stay away from the inside staterooms, spend the extra for the varanda!

Ports of call

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
we did the float trip down the Mendenhall River, what a blast

Sitka, Alaska

5 out of 5
too short, need more time in Sitka
Don't Miss: don't miss the Raptor Center

Victoria, British Columbia

3 out of 5
been there, done that 4 times, nothing new
Don't Miss: have a good beer and cigar

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
too short, need more time in Ketchikan

Pros: No-one knew who I was I was soo relaxed!

Cons: The language barrier between crew staff members and myself was very challenging at times

Recommends Oosterdam? Yes!
