We had My time dining in deck 3 main dining. Our waiters were very attentive, anticipated our needs & preferences. Special mention to the head waiter Rachelle, waiter Mohammed & assistant waiter Arnold. Thank you for your services. Enjoyed themed menu in Windjammer for lunch.

Onboard Activities

Love the quiet nook in the library to relax & read. Glad to find a decent selection of books. After adding 7 years to my senior years, was glad to repeat my I Fly experience. Deck 15 early morning walking has a terrific view of sunrise.

Entertainment

We're in cabin 12148 not 3586. Nice sized Balcony cabin for 2 seniors. Was comfortable until our 24th day when the thermostat was 80 F degrees/ 27 C & the cabin temp was 79degrees Fahrenheit. Ist notice to housekeeping who advised to set control to auto did not correct the situation. 2nd call had someone come up to check. Was informed the temp will be cooler after 25 minutes. 2 hours later after we returned to the room, temp was just 1 degree lower & room still very uncomfortable. Made 3rd call & requested someone who deals with AC issues . An engineer was dispatched & AC worked.

So glad to visit this lovely city. I did the tour thru Viator since Art & Architecture tour was not on the list offered by RCaribbean. We had an excellent tour guide & enjoyed visiting the buildings. I recommend this one added to the list of excursions.

Ponta Delgada, Azores Did not visit port

Ship route changed to Madiera & arrived late in the evening. Would have liked to visit this during daylight.

Interesting tour of the dock yard. Went on the glass flatbottomed boat excursion to see coral reefs & the wreck.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Liked the walking part of the excursion & the boat ride along the river to see the mansions & yatchs of the super rich. Our flight was late afternoon & this was a nice way to see the city, & convenient way to transfer to the airport after the tour.
