Review summary

Ship has a Great Captain and Crew! Internet package is pricey. The lower level during shows had more servers compared to upper . Pools will close in high seas but is understandable. We had seas up to 25ft .

Dinning room had a good selection and meals were all good that we ordered. We were glad we did not get the speciality package on this trip . Group of ladies played cards at food table in dinning area of windjammer with no staff saying anything while elderly people struggled to find a table to sit eat at .

Onboard Activities

We did not care for the activities on this ship . Bumper cars were not used enough and long lines and short rides . Pool chairs were all reserved early and empty being held for all day with no use . Guests got away with moving chairs all around blocking walkways . Nobody ever said anything to anyone about rules or enforcement of the chair holding. Guests placed chairs over shuffling game also making it unusable. Teen area was vacant and not used whole trip .

Was very disappointed with the lack of quality entertainment on this ship compared to the Symphony Of The Seas .

Ship was clean but lacking design features. The robot bar that was advised so much never worked whole trip .

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was just above a smoking area 10 feet below . You cant see this and are unaware when you book . Really felt it took away the whole point of an ocean view balcony. So disappointing ! Overpaid for this view with cigar and cigarette smoke coming up when in port .

Everyone went to same lines and people with out of Country passports held up line for long periods of time . The couple in front of us in line held us up for 25 minutes before we were finally directed to another line . They had to finger print them and go through additional paper work and agent kept going out to get help. Made no sense as you need all documentation just to get on ship .

We are booked on the 2024 transatlantic 2 floors up in 8246. Does the smoke and smell travel that far? I am wondering if I should look for an alternate cabin.

Appreciate your feedback. Sorry you got several of my per peeves (tables occupied by card/game players during dining rush times, smoking areas below balcony cabins unmarked, chair hogs, disrespectful people and no enforced rules) all on one sailing.

Good cruise but Odyssey of Seas did not have right facilities for mobility, hearing and sight handicapped passengers. Never enough space for those using walkers, wheelchairs and electric scooters in the theater. And also included the TWO70 theater.

Great service, food...Golden Corral would be a better choice option
