Fantastic arrival into the port, we were picked up from the ship by the tour boat and went to Murano for the glass factory and Burano for the lace making which was just a short demonstration in a shop.

Went on the ancient history tour. A bit too much information from the guide, most of which we didn’t really need too know. She was so busy talking we didn’t really get to see anything. The museum was good, lots of artefacts from digs.

Thanks for this comprehensive review. I’m so glad to hear that Oceana is your favourite ship - we have booked her for a similar itinerary in May 2020. I fancy seeing Murano and Burano. And definitely wine tasting too!
