Review summary

It was a great time but I would not sail on Oasis again unless it was going to a specific port I want to visit.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Process went fairly quickly, and we were able to board 2 hours before our scheduled time. The terminal is just an inconvenience during check in as there no counters to help place items as you bring out all your papers, so our items were on the ground as we were being checked in by the people with the tablets.

Ship experiences

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We were able to keep busy with activities on the daily planner and they had variety of things for everyone to enjoy.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The Aqua show and Ice show were amazing, however I am not a fan of the reservations. We are the type that go with the flow of the day and we did not schedule anything prior to boarding so getting in to see shows was nearly impossible as they were sold out. We watched the Aqua show from the rock climbing deck, and the ice show just happened to have an opening.

Ship tip

Don’t be the go with the flow like us or you won’t be able to see shows. Schedule everything in advance if possible. This is also not the ship for you if you don’t like crowds. I think I am done with the bigger ships.

Ports of call

Falmouth, Jamaica

3 out of 5
I only shopped in the port and then got back on the ship. Rest of my travel party booked a tour and regretted it. They were able to see what they paid for because of traffic and they would not get back in time.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Waste of time if you don’t have an excursion. The new port area is nice but not what I expected. Years ago we walked through Atlantis, ate lunch there and then went to Cabbage Beach. We tried to do the same thing but Atlantis is now completely closed off and you have to pay over $100 per person to be on the property.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Weather was crappy for the beach day we had planned so we paid to do the waterslides at Thrill Park. It was very fun and the food was good!

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful!! I love the improvements they have made since the last time I was there in 2019.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
We were late in port due to medical emergencies and weather, which is not an issue but everyone was piled on the promenade and they made us walk the circle of the jogging track to get off which took forever and it sucked dragging bags over carpet through the MDR to get to the other side where we were getting off.

Thanks for the review. What nights on this itinerary were the formal nights? Nights 2 and 6 still?
