Review summary

After achieving Diamond + status, we’re leaving to go to Princess and Celebrity. Good luck catering to families. Hope you can keep the 12 year olds out of the casino…and gambling. Security couldn’t manage that on our last 2 cruises.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Perfect.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Specialty restaurants were great, as was a buffet. MDR was hit and miss.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Everything but Cats was not great. Completely inappropriate on a ship with your demographic.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was excellent. Security could not control many of the rude, destructive kids. Ruined it for many of us.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Well done

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very enjoyable. Plenty of room for 2.

Ship tip

Not for single couples any longer. Marketed to families and kids. Select another cruise line if you want some peace and quiet. We are done with RCL after attaining Diamond + status.

Precisely why we now cruise with Celebrity. Celebrity will match your RCL status, but only up to Diamond level

You’re aware I assume, that your RC Loyalty will be matched on Celebrity. We cruise RC, Celebrity and Princess….IMO…..do Celebrity and screw Princess. Celebrity is superior to Princess.

I agree with you 100%. I was on this cruise also. It was an absolute zoo! We had kids throw food on us from the second story of the dining room! My daughter (in heels) was almost knocked down a flight of stairs due to children running wild. I will never sail during this week again.

Sad that your cruise wasn't all you had hoped. In my opinion, anytime I can go on a vacation, not clean, cook, pay to be entertained and I can visit beautiful beaches, that Sir, is a great vacation to me. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Single couples?

Fortunately Celebrity lines share benefits with RCL. Sorry about the kids. I blame the parents. They brought their kids into the Solarium on the Wonder.
