We absolutely loved the Oasis, the staff, the activities, the entertainment, the food, the cruise. We absolutely HATED the Port of Miami. Construction taking place, so very congested. We won't sail from MIA again, or at least no time soon.
Embarkation

The Miami port was a terrible experience. I have cruised from Galveston and Port Canaveral and never seen the congestion, chaos and confusion that was at the Port of Miami. They have construction going on, so hopefully it is not normally like this, but it took over an hour to locate our parking shuttle just to get to our car. The attendants were extremely rude, so that only made the experience worse. Sometimes a kind face, or some empathy can make a bad situation a bit more bearable. But there was none of that.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was good, as usual on Royal.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We enjoyed everything, rock climbing, zip lining, escape room, surf, ice skating, QUEST!!! There was never a dull moment.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Excellent shows, excellent performers! Cats was wonderful, as was the Aqua Theater and the Ice show.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The attendants are always exceptional and always friendly and professional. It seemed a bit off this cruise, like not as personable as on previous cruises. We often feel very connected to our favorite crew members, but this time felt different. Maybe overworked, or maybe told not to get too close to passengers. Not sure, but definitely different from previous.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was nice and clean. Oasis is a HUGE ship, so getting around involved a lot of walking. But not an issue, as we were walking to something fun!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin was really small, but sufficient. It was extremely clean and very comfortable.
