The ship is impressive but way too many people. Windjamer was a nightmare, staff look overworked and didn't really felt like a cruise because of its size there were not many places to view the water.
It was a nice experience but I will stick with smaller ships.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
I had priority boarding and was on the ship in 15 minutes.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Food was not as good compared with previous cruises. Also Windjamer was a nightmare. It took ages to find a seat and people were pushing and touching food with hand and licking their fingers. Last day I ordered beef rib medium rare from main dining room and it was so raw that you can smell the blood. It was perfect the day before. Is hit and miss.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Plenty to do but way too many people and over crowded.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Entertainment was great except for Cats show. I left after 30 minutes.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
You can clearly see the staff is overworked. Most of them were like robots and not smiling. I felt sorry for them. There is a lot of work to be done because of the size of this ship. My stateroom attendant was excellent.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
You can see the ship is getting old in some places like chairs in main dining room are of different colors/broken/dirty. Plates and tables in Windjamer were not always clean and were stiky sometimes. Overall I think is well maintained for its age. The ship is gone for refurb now.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I had a Boardwalk balcony to see how it is. It was all the way on the back so I could see the Aquashow from there but people from the other side can see in your stateroom so I had to keep the curtains all the time. It was noisy during the day aswell. I would rather book an oceanview stateroom If I cant afford an oceanview balcony.
Ship tip
The ship is amazing. Lots of things to do and places to relax but is way too overcrowded and it wasn't even fully booked. Not many places to see the water either. I think this ship size is not for me. I will stick with smaller ones.
