Review summary

Overall a great cruise. Departed from Atlanta on Saturday, 1 June, arrived in Spain on 2 June around 8:00am. Used the RC transfer. After I claimed my bags, went down to ground transportation where I met the RC Agent with the lollipop RC sign. They retrieved our bags, and I didn’t see them again until they were at my cabin door. Embarkation was a breeze. This itinerary is very busy. It will wear you out. After Rome day, I was so tired, I slept for 12 hours. I wish had a sea day somewhere in the middle of the itinerary. The entertainment was ok. The food for me was just ok. Debarkation was also a breeze.

Overall not bad. One of the RC Rep did not know how to ID myself as a platinum member We checked in around 12. The lines were that long

My room attendant, head and assistant were outstanding. The customer service desk was that friendly at all to me.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
You can tell the ship is getting old. Overall the general cleanliness was just ok.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Perfect fit for two people. We had three in the room, and at night it was hard to move around the cabin. The room attendant keep the room clean at all times.

Ship tip

The card room is good place for some peace and quiet time except for the last dat. On the last day, everyone is printing boarding passes.

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

Did not do an excursion. The port is very nice. You can buy wine to take aboard at the port, and your minute items you might need.

Did a private tour for 6 hours. Set-up after we got off the ship. RC provided transportation into the city. Of course, we to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

There is not way you see Rome in a day and enjoy it. The bus ride from the port is about one and half hour with good traffic. This was a very long day.

Naples, Italy

4 out of 5
The ship docks within walking distance to the city. Got off about two hours to do some shopping.

Disembarkation

The process was well organized. It my family less than 15 minutes to get our bags. We did the RC transfers, and that helped
