Highly recommend
While on board, we booked another cruise-trying the Jewel of the Seas next time-mainly because we were looking for a cruise to the more southern Caribbean, however, DEFINITELY staying with Royal Caribbean Line
Don’t over pack, you don’t need much!
Absolutely fantastic cruise !
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Lines were really really long, with no real organization.
Would have helped if more people were there to help and guide you
And one official, was picking out people to go through the express line, and-hmmmm-appeared he was picking out all of the young girls
This line was the worst part of the entire trip
Customs officials were very very nice and accommodating
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
EXCELLENT! I could never say enough great things about food service and the food itself
Wait staff remembered you, your preferences, and did everything possible to meet your every need
Super kind and attentive, but not overbearing
On a scale of 1-10, I’d give them a 35!
Windjammer Cafe

Anything you could possibly want, any time you want it! We would go for breakfast-super huge and fabulous assortment of food. Maybe drop in for a snack
Lunch was the same. Everything you could want
I loved having the ability to have fish and seafood three ties a day! I ate healthier on the cruise than I am able to at home!
Catherine-an attendant in Windjammer, was the best. She remembered us BY NAME! She was from Kenya. And we really enjoyed meeting her and getting to know her.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
They were incredible! Dining room staff was so attentive and friendly, meeting every need and doing everything possible to serve you!
Example-I could LIVE on shrimp cocktail!
After the third night, they just started bringing me double portions!
Never had to wait long for food
Just amazing!
Windjammer staff-so friendly -remembered us BY NAME!
Very clean and great food
Cabin attendant was always there to make sure we had everything we needed, and kept our cabin spotless!
Ship Quality

WOW! As a former infectious disease Registered Nurse, I wish every place could be as clean as the Oasis!
They REALLY do everything possible to keep it spotless! There are people cleaning 24/7, and it was very impressive
Hand sanitizer everywhere as well
Very well done
Cabin / Stateroom

Perfect
That says it all
LOVED having a balcony, would never cruise without a balcony
Just the right size
Very very comfortable bed
I needed more closet hangers, but I asked and had them within minutes
Ship tip
TAKE BINOCULARS!!
I SO wish we had some! There are birds and rainbows, and other ships out there! And when getting close to a port, I would have liked to be able to see the islands better
SAFETY PINS!
We lost a couple buttons, would have been nice to have them!
A REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE!
You can fill it up in the Windjammer, and take it with you as you walk about the ship
For women, a small crossover purse, you don’t really need much in the ports, just a small bag
A LANYARD for your sea pass
You don’t use cash on the ship , you only need your sea pass. Having a lanyard keeps it close and convenient
Don’t over pack! You don’t need much!
Comfortable shoes are a must!
Sailed on Oasis of the Seas -
The cruise itself was perfect-Love Royal Caribbean!
However, embarking was the worst ever!!
Lines were SO LONG! And very confusing, through the parking garage!
No organization at all, no one to tell you where to go
But even worse, once we finally did get into the building to go through TSA, there was this man-of some kind of official presence-selecting people to go through the express line-no waiting at all —
And it was very obvious that he was selecting cute young women to go ahead of the lines! VERY ANNOYING SND UNPROFESSIONAL!
Those of us not selected were not happy about it
Once through TSA, the immigration staff was very friendly and helpful
And once on the ship , we were fine
But that first part was so frustrating.
Be prepared to feel like you are in a “cattle call” when you arrive at Port Canaveral!
Very clean and friendly
The beach was nice
Just beware of the people wanting to give you a Massage, or braid your hair, etc They can be a bit pushy it was nice
It was nice. Just a very short stop-a few hours
The Fort was interesting
It was REALLY REALLY HOT the day we were there
GREAT sidewalk deals everywhere, and was able to barter them down to great prices it was
We did NOT put our luggage out the night before
You can leave yourself between 6:45-7:45 AM, and we did this. And it took maybe, 30 minutes start to finish. If you can pull your own luggage, this is The was to do it. So quick and easy -no lines at all
We did book our next cruise while we still had three days left on this one!
Received a great deal, on board cash, already picked our room and meal time!
