Very easy, Able to rent a scooter for use on the ship right at check-in

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was fantastic. Was never hungry. Would have been nice for bars to have appetizer-type foods for purchasing while drinking.

American Icon Grill

5 out of 5

Food was great. Server was also very attentive and asked about one member of party who didn't come down for dinner one night. Suggested we take some food up to him.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Saw CATS. attended members of Cats at Jazz on 4, and piano bar at the Schooner bar. Went to Spa first day. Grandson did rock-climbing wall and zip-line.

Vitality at Sea Spa

2 out of 5

Spa personnel were somewhat pushy about getting their services.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Cats was great!!! Saw Peter James several times at the piano at the Schooner Bar. Very good. Also attended Cats cast at Jazz on 4.

Theater

5 out of 5

Cats was great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Server at American Icon was fantastic. Suggested we take some dinner back to grandson who didn't come to dinner on the third night. Room Steward Mary Ann was very helpful and room was always made by the time we came back after breakfast. And ready for turn down right after we went to dinner.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very roomy. We had a handicapped room, which was large enough to accomodate rented scooter.

Ship tip

Cruise line might want to set aside one elevator just for the use of those with wheelchairs and scooters. I waited over 30 minutes to use an elevator, even though I was first in line because people kept pushing past me to get on.

Ports of call

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
Did shopping at port as well as did the food taste tour across the island. Food tour was great; learning about the culinary habits about the inhabitants.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Beautiful city. Did the Sea Trek tour while on the island.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Very beautiful. Vendors at the beach were extremely pushy and would not take no for an answer after you purchased something.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy. Staff on land very helpful since I was in a scooter.

I liked Alaskan cruise more than Carribean, but I'm not a lay out at the beach person. Have fun.
