Review summary

Everything on this ship was wonderful. The activities, the shows, the food. The kids loved every moment.  The only problem I had was that my husband is dairy free, and there are not many dairy free options in the form of dessert and other treats.  I really would like to see the gluten free and dairy free options made available.  He had a horrible experience at Starbucks where he asked for a dairy free beverage and was given one with dairy.  I asked the attendant to correct it, and she informed me I would be charged for the change.  Starbucks does not charge you to correct a mistake.  That was my only problem.  All of the other details were amazing.

NCL was very accommodating when a wait staff heard I was lactose intolerant and quickly provided me with an individual to advise me with what to avoid on the menu, but the whole situation brought too much attention to me. I pretty much can tell what foods has dairy. However, I did not expect to have difficulty trying to find a nondairy creamer. In fact, when I go out to eat I usually take my own.

On RC there is a form that you fill out and email and advise them of any special dietary restrictions and they plan accordingly. In a past cruise I advised them of my lactose intolerance and the off r red alternatives in the main dining room and when ordering room service.

My last few cruises was a little inconvenient when it came to trying to find a nondairy creamer for my coffee. If something has dairy in it, let's just say the results are not pretty. Sometimes, I can get away with some half and half, but not onboard the ships. I assume they mix their own. Therefore, for all my future cruises I plan on bringing my own nondairy creamer; problem solved

They do have soy milk on board at Starbucks. I had it. They should have corrected it for you if it was their mistake. Sorry for that
