Review summary

My family and I were on the Oasis over Thanksgiving Had a great time Just a lot I mean a lot of people ( over 6,000) , it was like being in New York at Macys on black friday. Everything had an up charge, example $39.00 steak dinner, $6,99 for a hamburger at Johnny rockets ect,   and their were no perks in the casino no matter what you spent. Drinks were $10.00 for 1 oz pour and not one drop more 1oz. The ship was amazing and well worth the one and only one time experience. Personally my wife and I will go back to Holland America or Princess and if the grandkids are with us Carnival

I agree that our favorite ship is Freedom. We have done Oasis and are going again with family next year, but for us Freedom is a great ship to relaxant get pampered in.

@niania it wasn't horrible like I said in my review please read it and feel free to comment but I was disappointed with the service

@justmelvw my first cruise was Freedom. Loved it. I'll be able to go on Oasis in June. Looking forward to it.

I was on this ship during this time also. The ship is beautiful but the quality of service is lacking. I have been on Freedom of the Sea and the service was outstanding. Like you I probably won't do this ship again.

I was on this cruise too, yes the specialty restaurants cost more but The Park Cafe that had breakfast and lunch delicious and Free along with Lunch in The Bistro at the front of the ship, along with Dining room and Windjammer all had great food no charge. This was our first time on such a large ship and we were impressed that with over 5000 people on board you could always find a quiet place to relax. Either the park, or areas near pool deck or Adult pool area at complete front of ship, that place had these so very comfortable couples couches that you could sit in and nap or read or watch out front of ship. Only time I really felt crowded was getting on ship (which took only 20 minutes. We got to port at 1:30) and getting luggage getting off ship. ..

all cruise lines nickle and dime you, at least on Royal the booze package really is unlimited, I seriously question Princess the last two times I was on them as to whether or not there was any booze at all in my drinks...seems you could drink all afternoon and no buzz at all. Maybe the 1oz shots are cuz of the booze packages, you won't have asd many stumbling drunks as you do on Carnival. For the amount of food you get at Johnny Rockets, its not A bad deal, I coulndt eat it all

ugh this is normal pricing. chops grille has always had a charge and Johnny rockets always has had a charge. with all due respect a little research would've yielded you all of this information pre cruise.
