Had lunch in the Windjammer one of the days at sea. The food was really good and there was a wonderful selection. Loved that there were hand washing stands at the entrance of the Windjammer and everyone seemed diligent about washing hands before eating.

The options are great. Only problem is how crowded it gets at all the time of day. It can be hard to find a table

Expect crowds, noise, children, crowds, confusion everywhere. This is the busiest place on the ship and the only place to eat anything that you desire for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For all of the craziness that you see here there is a sense of organized chaos. You will always find a seat, you will always fill your plate, and you will always regret eating too much. The wait staff at Windjammer have the hardest job on the ship, smiling, cleaning up your mess, getting your coffee, and somehow always have food available. Let me put this in perspective, the ship carries some 6600 cruisers. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are at least 4 to 5 buffet tables always full of food. I don't know how they do it, but they will always get 5 stars from me.

The Windjammer had pretty good food when I went on Oasis. But it was always extremely crowded. Sometimes you even had to wait to be seated. Also, it seemed like most of the day, it was not open. Or both sides weren't open. But I'm sure if you went at the right time of the day, you could get it at its least busy time. I still liked this restaurant, despite its flaws, but I very much recommend the cafe in Central Park more.
