Review summary

This is my 7th cruise but my first time with NCL. Once I adjusted to the “Norwegian” way, I had a great time. I like the set dining times on other ships because I get to know the serving staff better. I did get to interact with some of the serving staff on the Norwegian Sun but not as close as the other cruise lines.

I did the excursion with the scenic tour on the highway that matches the railroad and I enjoyed it very much.

I like Sitka and I liked the Fortress of the Bears excursion. There was a courtesy cart to transport people like myself with mobility issues from the ship to the excursion terminal. We had an hour and a half on this excursion with one hour driving to and from the dock to the excursion site.
