The foods were adequate in the buffet. Breakfast was the same each day, so really no variety.

Only one main pool, so it was rather crowded and not really useful if you wanted to swim. No slides, they had a game deck, however no extras like rock climbing.

We hardly saw our room steward, difficult to get to bartenders since the drink package was included in the majority of passengers.

Cleanliness met expectations. The ship was small so the extra activities and bling didn’t exist

We had a balcony room. The shower was was smaller than the inside room I had the month before on the Encore.
Ship tip
If you purchase the priority access for the embarkation and debarkation, or priority tenders for shore excursion. DON’T waste your money. There are no priority debarkation, you just leave with everyone else that is carrying their luggage off the ship. There is no priority for shore excursions, everyone leaves out the single exit.
Visited the Mayan Ruins and Lagoon. You only have 6 hours and most excursion away from the ship require 30-60 minute drive. Shore excursion was purchased from Sky Priority.
Do your research ahead of time, the Sun doesn't have the newer amenities. That information is clearly explained, that's on you for not being an informed consumer. Don't cruise NCL then, there are plenty of other lines to choose from.
