Review summary

Overall we had a good time. The ship was clean and nice. The staff was fantastic and always friendly. Most of the entertainment was not very good. We did enjoy Keith Bender a stand-up comedian who performed. The food in the main dining rooms was pretty good but the buffets lacked variety.

Very slow... Although I appreciate them checking passengers carefully for the Corona virus it took almost three hours to board the ship.

Our cabin was nice and everything was clean and neat. The bed was fairly comfortable but I did have to keep pushing the mattresses back together as they seem to want to separate

Ship tip

Bring a water thermos to refill because they will confiscate bottled water when boarding. Plan on eating in the main dining rooms most nights as the buffets lacked variety.

Port Canaveral, Florida

This was our first time going out of Port Canaveral. It took almost three hours the board the ship! Although I appreciate them screening everyone for the coronavirus it was a very lengthy process which took an extremely long time.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

If you plan on staying in the port and like loud parties it is nice. If you want to leave the port and explore the town they make it very difficult to find your way out. We rented a golf cart from Mayahual Golf Carts in Costa Maya. Much cheaper than going through the ship and had a super time eating lunch and relaxing at Maya Bar Beach. Did a snorkeling tour with one of the locals for only $25 per person. Excellent day😁

There is not a lot to do here at the Port except for shopping. We enjoyed a relaxing day at Nachi-Cocom beach resort.

So happy to finally be boarding the ship. Almost a 3-hour line..ugh

The best meal I had was the breaded pork chop in the four seasons. The seven seas and four seasons dining rooms we're pretty good. Staff was excellent. The buffets lacked variety and most of the food there was fairly bland.

it took almost 3 hours to get through the boarding line. So happy to finally be getting on the ship.

What did they do for screening for the virus that took so long? I told my husband they might do something but I was thinking just instant read thermometer.

We’ve been on 2 Norwegian cruises and both left us wanting more, so I understand. Maybe try Carnival next time. Also went on several Royal Caribbean cruises and found Carnival the best.
