Review summary

This was an extended family cruise with 12 people. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more and the staff always accommodated our large party.

Embarkation

Could not have been easier. Baggage porters were friendly and polite. No wait at the security scanners. Walked right up to the check in counter. We only had to wait 10 minutes for our number to be called for boarding.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Enjoyed the Cagney steak house, the Le Bistro and both of the main dining rooms. Every dish I ordered was excellent and served at the proper temperature. Waite staff was friendly and effecient. We are out breakfasts on the outdoor back deck. Good was fine and the view great. I do give low marks to the pizza served in the sports bar area.

Onboard Activities

Sat by the pool. Music is geared for 30 year old or less but most of the passengers are older than that so I'd say the music is not age appropriate.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Stage shows were just average as was the comedian. They had a great piano player/singer that did songs everyone knew and wanted to sing along with. He was in a small venue that was packed every time he played. He needs a bigger stage so he can be enjoyed by more people. The Reggae band was very enjoyable as was the rock band.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

All were friendly especially the washy washy ladies. Best room steward ever for us. Non obtrusive but when we did see him he was very outgoing and he was a towel animal master.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The design is a little weird with some of the decks blocked midshipmen forcing you to go upwards to travel from aft to stern but no big deal. The ship was clean and we'll maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
This was our 11th cruise but our first balcony cabin. Bigger with storage and a larger bed. Great view out the balcony but we rarely used the balcony because we were busy with other activities. If the sun was shining on you the balcony was very hot. Great cabin but not worth the extra expense to us.

Ports of call

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

Nice beach and the water was fairly clear. We snorkel rd and saw a few fish, a stingrays and a conch. We had to share the island with the huge Norwegian Escape so it was very crowded. Good was pretty good and plenty of it.

Nassau, Bahamas

Been here before. Not much to do.

Wow, it was easy. We just ate a late breakfast and walked off the ship. No one even looked at our passports.
