Very pleased with NCL on last two trips. Good time!
Embarkation

Smooth and fast. The only issue was the medical questionnaire which had to be filled out at the last second at check in.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We did not get a specialty food package so we either ate in the main dining room or at the buffet. The buffet was very unorganized with no logic or consistency but the food was decent. The main dining room was excellent each night we ate there and the one breakfast we had. We never had a long wait for seating nor food.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We went to several of the shows in the Bliss lounge and enjoyed most of those. Enjoyed the pools and hot tubs.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We did not go to the dancing and singing performances with the exception of the blues/Motown singer. We loved Dizzy, the magician/comedian! The comedian was also very good although I thought his running down Carnival got a bit old.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
We thought the dining room service was excellent with all the servers we sat with. Our room steward kept our cabin very clean but we had to repeatedly ask for four towels (which we never got) so we helped ourselves from the service carts. I wonder if there was a rule with only one towel per person?
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
I liked the small size of the ship and never felt that it was crowded. Only the buffet design was bad and caused congestion every meal.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
We had an inside cabin on deck seven which was roomier than most ships. Carnivalβs inside cabins do not have a couch and this had a loveseat sized couch. The bathroom with a very tiny but sufficed.
We took a shuttle to the beach at and settled at Big Mamas ad they had no charge for loungers or a table as long as you eat/drink something. It would have been a perfect day except you were constantly harassed by vendors with jewelry, cigars, hats, purses, etc. every 30 seconds. I finally started totally ignoring them.
By the time we got to this port we got a drink and two loungers and were told we had to leave. The sea conditions were extremely rough on our way over and we even discussed if they got much worse we wondered how we would get back to the ship. They closed it down and sent us packing.
We did the Mexican cuisine cooking class at Playa Mia through the cruise line and it was one of the best excursions ever! I am thinking of doing it again in December! You had full use of the facilities after your class and It included free drinks. Food was delicious and fun cooking!
We booked the kayaking trip in the mangroves and had a blast despite being rained on the whole time. We walked all around Key West in between showers and visited the Kino store and bought lots of sandals!
