NCL is still NCL with no major changes except the inside room I had was nice and roomy. I love the casual atmosphere in the restaurants, so if you need to wear heels and dress to kill, this is not a ship you will like. When I go on vacation, I want to be on vacation...not dressing to impress. I found it easy to get a table for one in the dining room, which I appreciated being a solo traveler.
Embarkation

Very quick and easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was surprisingly good, especially in the dining rooms except for the buffet BACON! They only half-fry each piece and it sits there is a big pan of grease until someone gets really desperate and takes it. I always ask for some made specially for me. It's silly because just to the left of the pan of half-cooked bacon is a permanently installed metal sign warning you not to eat under-cooked meat. The free drinks were very appreciated. At La Cuchina the steak I ordered was as big as my face! And delicious too!
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
We like to sit around and play the trivia and group games but none of them were "theme" trivia, just "general" which was very difficult for average players. There weren't enough group games like Scattergories, etc. The "prizes" were silly.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
My room stewardess, Adeline from the Philippines was exceptional, and the wait staff was fine. The cooks, however, need to learn that BACON NEEDS TO BE COOKED THOROUGHLY.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
This is a hard ship to navigate. Sometimes you have to walk one deck up from where you really want to be so it would be a bad ship for those with disabilities. Also there is not enough information provided on where ALL of the pools are located throughout the ship. The hair dryers are next to impossible to use due to their design and location. They should not be located above the toilet and next to the shower and, while using, their "handles" get really hot.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin 9129 was great! Very quiet, close to elevator and it seemed larger than most cabins. No complaints.
Ship tip
Bring your own hairdryer! The ones on the Sun are HORRIBLE!
Conflicting information at Paradise Cove. It's much cheaper to take a taxi even if you have to wait for others to join you. If you use their shuttle it's $44, and that's all you get...transportation. Take a taxi, bring your own equipment and towel and pay under $5 for admission. Actually, I thought all beaches in Nassau were free, but they say they have to pay people to clean the beach. Really?
Souvenirs are ridiculously expensive and the sidewalks need lots of work so people don't trip and fall. I won't get off the ship in Nassau ever again. Not that much to do.
Favorite port. People rave about the Taco stand, but it was not that great. The buffet was better with ribs (which were a little dry) hot dogs and hamburgers (yummy).
I felt really rushed and chaotic. It would be so much easier to just give passengers a REASONABLE time to disembark, like between 7 AM and 10 AM. Let us choose that day.
Obviously you are very difficult to please. They have trivia and you complain because it's not the kind you want. You didn't seem to like the ports but you chose the itinerary.
