I love cruises so I was optimistic about this cruise. I was pleased with the ship and the dining options being a smaller ship. Entertainment at night was great! The swimming pools were quite small for the number of guests on board. During the last day, we were only allowed access to one pool due to a vomiting incidence in the second pool the afternoon before. The single pool on the last day was extremely crowded and almost uncomfortable.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We parked our car and were on the ship within 20 minutes! Sailing on 7 cruises, that was a record for me.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining room was as expected. Good food and great service. Cagney's Steakhouse was good, but I would not dine there again without a dining voucher (which we used on this cruise). The sushi restaurant (the name has left me) was less than desirable . There were only 10 rolls to choose from and the service was very slow. The sushi tasted average to what we are used to .
Sushi Bar
2 out of 5
Sushi connoisseurs would not be pleased. We only had to choose from ten sushi rolls. The taste was sub-par. Service was slow (we didn't mind because we were not in a hurry), but our server was friendly. I would definitely NOT pay for sushi aboard this ship. We can get better tasting sushi in Alabama.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
There were very few activities that were engaging to the audience.
Entertainment

The cruise director, Jacky, was hilarious! We loved every show he hosted. Flip, the comedian was also great!!
Children's Programs
We did not bring children.
Service and Staff

Cabin / Stateroom

Our balcony suite was comfortable suited. The two of us had enough room to relax. The bathroom was small, as expected.
The port was somewhat chaotic. We were required to obtain a ticket to leave the ship (of which we were not aware). Due to being docked at a navy base, the military only allows so many guests at a time to be on base. We were some of the last to leave the ship, then had to wait on a tram/train to get a ride into town. The tram ride was about 15 minutes. We did not participate in an excursion. We just walked until we found a restaurant for dinner and then caught an uber to the southern-most buoy.
We swam with the pigs at this port. David, our bus driver, was very knowledgeable about the island and was friendly. General Brooks, our pig guru, was humorous and interesting. We felt very welcome on this island. The port was clean and organized.
We paid for the Atlantis Aquaventure excursion. Our meeting time was 8:15 on the port. We left on foot about 8:30 and were chaotically ushered onto buses without any guidance. We arrived near the Atlantis resort shortly before 9 am. We were dropped off about 1-2 blocks from the resort and had about a 10 minute walk to and through the resort before we were released. We arrived a 9 am only to find out that the pools and beach were closed due to lightening. We waited around until noon. During the waiting time, no food or drink was being served until 11 am (with the exception of Starbucks). We caught a cab at noon and went back to port. There were very few restaurants near the shipping port and most vendors were very pushy. We witnessed a physical fight by locals near the currency exchange machine. Both members were taken away in handcuffs. I would not visit this port again if given the chance.
