Overall it was a great experience for a first time cruise. I wish there were more activities that were catered to my age group. It definitely made me interested in looking into another cruise.

The group of singers that rotated in the forward lounge on the 12th deck were very good. Otherwise I was not overly impressed with the productions in the starlight lounge.

I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff. Everyone was polite and courteous. Our cabin attendant was excellent and did a great job of ensuring we had everything we needed.
I wanted to compliment the bar tender Naveen. He was an absolute pleasure the entire week. You are very lucky to have him as part of your team.

It was clean but I wish the AC worked better and there were better options for TV/movies to watch. Especially since we had no internet.

Bring Dramamine for they days you are in open water!
We did the train up to Anchorage. Apart from departing for the train ride so early that experience was great. Once in Anchorage we had 6 hours before our flight. I was not overly impressed with the city.
For your first cruise, selecting Alaska was a brilliant first step. For your second, check into likes, dislikes for your age group. Hope you find a ship that better fits your desires .
