7 Night Western Caribbean (Tampa Roundtrip)
Sail Date: January 11, 2015
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 2 years ago

After having sailed on other much larger and newer ships...it is very hard to go back to older/smaller ships!  I will say that the Sun is very clean and the staff are very friendly.  The food is okay, not a whole  lot to brag about there.  I recommend dinner in the dining room as the buffet is so-so.  And be aware that they do not offer a lobster night.  The only lobster offered was on the buffet one night and it was a pasta dish.

We normally like the adult solarium on the larger ships and there was not one on this ship.  Although there weren't many young ones on this cruise...if you prefer a quiet serene pool area experience, you won't get it here.

Entertainment was decent.

rainy day, only went to the bar and shopped a little at the port. But got some good deals!

Best port! The pool area in the center of the shopping center is very nice and has ample beach lounge chairs to use.

Toured the ruins and won't do it again...one and done! Also visited a local tequila factory for a free tour....spent wayyyy too much for the tequila to bring home!
