Review summary
My wife and I hadn't cruised in over 20 years and were pleasantly suprised. The previous reviews of the Norwegian Sun were just average but we found the boat to be very updated, clean, and spacious. The balcony was just right for the two of us and gave us a terrific value in our opinion. There was way more room for storage than we needed. The crew from the cabin steward to the casino dealers and bartenders were top notch. The port of calls were average but we didn't expect much and did not particpate in any excursions. We stretched our legs during stops and took the local "bargains" for what the are. We were on the cruise to enjoy the warm weather and to be served!

Ship tip
We did not go to any of the "paid" dining venues because we found plenty of variety in the "complimentary" dining areas. We were prepared to, but found it unnecessary. We found the ultimate beverage package that was a bonus to be excellent...but doubt that it would be worth it if you had to pay.
