Review summary
Our cruise was delightful. We were on board the Norwegian Sun leaving the Port of New Orleans on Christmas Eve. The parking at the port was simple, with plenty of support with the luggage. We just dropped our luggage on the second floor of the parking gargage and went off to park. The return was just as easy. We didn't even have long lines at customs. The best part was the stay in Guatamala. What a quaint stop. The resort package we choose was wonderful. The people are warm and genuine. They want American tourists. When leaving the port every taxi in town was on the dock flashing there their lights and waving good bye to the ship. My only negative about our journey is the cost of the meals in the specialty restaurants. Some had a service charge of $20 per person. I thought this was quite steep when you consider you can eat for free in the main dining room. (You really already paid for the food)Ports of call
