Review summary

We missed the most important ports we were interested to visit in Ireland and instead spent 5 days at sea! We made a big mistake to book this cruise too far in advance-NCL dropped the price several times, but they did not adjust/reimbursed us.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The food at the buffet was too salty, overcooked and poor quality. The specialty restaurants and the Aqua dining food was more acceptable

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Due to rain or cold weather there were no outdoor activities

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The entertainment was good, but the cruise entertainment director and her staff were an embarrassment- no talent for entertainment business or to attract people to attend the scheduled events

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The ship personnel are overworked, but still able to due a fantastic job

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship layout is outdated and needs a lot of maintenance. The common areas are clean and well maintained by the personnel

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The assigned cabin at the booking time, at 9th floor-# 9603 had lots of noise, vibration and trepidations issues. The board mechanical crew were unable to fix the problems. The problems with the vibrations are common at the 9th floor corridors too. We have to thanks to Erik from the ship reception for finding us another room

i always hear about these itinerary changes when on ship but i always book 4 months or less...sometimes 7-9 days out...great prices but airfare can bite you so find the sweet spot for both and BOOK IT!!!! thanks for sharing, it is a clean ship and the layout was great for the amount of passengers.
