We cruise to be on the sea.........gazing at the vastness of it......enjoying the wildlife. Cruising takes one back a couple of centuries when being on the sea was an adventure. This ship has always rekindled that love of the sea for us..........
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Held up by people still getting off the ship. Otherwise.......very smooth.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The Versailles Room was very good. The Specialty venues could have been better. The Garden Cafe buffet was, at times, the best place for exotic cuisine.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We didn't do many activities since many of them were not appealing to us.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Wonderful shows.......but many of them seemed like they were infomercials when they started.
Children's Programs
Take a wild guess............
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Very pleasant and attentive..........friendly greeting in the hallways.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
I prefer mid-size ships like the Star over the larger "floating cities" common on Royal Caribbean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We lucked out and were assigned a "disability" cabin..........more spacious, especially the bathroom and balcony.
Ship tip
If being on the sea is your main priority, you can't do better than this.
