Review summary

Great itinerary, the recently renovated Star in particualr, and NCL's facilities in general were somewhat disappointing

Buffet was quite crowded. Main dining room was OK, Moderno and Cagneys were really the only worthwhile specialty restaurants (the menu for Le Bistro didn't appear to have changed at all in the last 10 years, the Asian specialty restaurants can't compare to the excellent Asian restaurants in my area, and we were staying in Venice afterward, so why waste money on the mediocre Italian food at La Cucina?)

Totally standard for the class; I really expected more after the recent refit.

Cabin / Stateroom

I really expected a lot more after the recent refit. It appeared that the only part of the cabin that was upgraded was the builtin desk/TV shelf next to the balcony, and that was done in a different shade of wood from the rest of the cabin. Not impressed.

Aside from the antiquities, not much to recommend the city. We took the HoHo bus around, and it looked like just about every building was covered with graffiti.
