Getting into Venice 4 days ahead of time allowed us to get over jet lag and see the city. The cruise was more enjoyable than expected since the citizens of the ports were very friendly (except for one guy, but that made for a good story). Each port was unique and we were glad to see the environment of the Montenegro and Croatia countries and why people love living there. As for Greece, these islands were all new to us and we can truly say we saw a different side of Greece than the mainland. The time in each port was shorter than our past NCL cruises to the eastern/western Med and Alaska, which is why we took a lot of highlights tours. All in all, a very special part of the world to visit!
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Fog prevented timely embarkation and port staff could have handled it better. Most had never experienced it before. Took us a few days to get back on schedule.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Great! The Whole Roasted Pig in the Market Café was our favorite moment!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Bingo was fun! Spa was very relaxing, but they did not advertise well that they were closing early the day before the last day. They should remain open with regular hours the entire day prior to debarkation. We could only use 5 of 8 days since we were late getting aboard.
Entertainment
Did not attend.
Children's Programs
No kids.
Service and Staff

Very polite and fun. Established a good relationship right away.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
No issues with cleanliness. I believe it should be a very high standard.
Cabin / Stateroom

Awesome room and balcony! The only way to go! Didn't need/use the tub.
Ship tip
The cabin outlets are not all U.S. 120v. Bring a converter for 220v. For example, the outlet behind the TV required the same converter as we used in Venice thankfully.
Did the "Kotor, Perast & Our Lady of the Rock" excursion. Very beautiful city and tour. Our cruise ship was late getting in so the tour finished at night but it was still amazing. Wish we had 2 hours more to climb stairs to top of mountain!
Did the "Scenic Corfu & Island Views" and was very pleased with tour. Included very scenic views of the Greek Isles and a very nice stop at the kumquat store for delicious liqueur.
What an amazing island with quite a story. Took the tender in and took the tram to the tour location. Was warned not to ride smelly donkeys. Did the American Airlines tour (not ship-sponsored tour) "Private Panoramic Santorini" and had a wonderful and private experience, hosted by the great Marcos. So we went the smart routes around and through the island; didn't get stopped by bus traffic. Felt like we were visiting a cousin!
Did the American Airlines tour (not ship-sponsored tour) "Highlights of Mykonos" which explored very scenic locations and even gave us the chance to dip our feet into the (cold) Aegean! Finished the tour with a walk through town. Only down side was that this was more than a moderate rated walk.
Awesome! Did the "Dubrovnik Orientation & Konavle Valley " excursion and was more than pleased. Excellent tour guide (Tenna) who was fascinating in her knowledge and analysis of Croatian history. So glad the valley was included - the walk through the mill was very nice and thanks for the treats! Yummy! What a city - unbelievable. Gave me a lot more insight into the countries east of the Adriatic.
Nice, could take luggage cart to water taxi stop. Stayed an extra night in Venice and played more! Note: The NCL Padua excursion was cancelled so I'm glad we didn't sign up!
