Review summary

Highly would recommend this cruise to all. Ports of call were excellent, staff and service were extremely accommodating. Cruise food and entertainment were average, specialty restaurant were very good.

We could not get change for our Euros anywhere aboard the ship.                           I was impressed with the Captain that showed authority at the right time and place .

     Thank you CAPTAIN.

NCL lied to us! they offered us two days before the sailing an ocean view cabin for $ 100.00 more. The cabin had 2 very small windows that were completely obstructed , (pictured included). A folding bed on the wall (for larger families) prevented me from getting in and out bed normally and I had a sore back . We complained to the main desk, but were told nothing could be done. I want my $100.00 refunded. NCL was not honest with the ocean view description, and we could have stayed in our original interior cabin, which was larger.

Ship tip

BE CAREFUL on last minutes upgrade at low or reasonable price; if it is too good to be true, it isn't true. Try to get your money back....

Interested in knowing what happened that required the Captain to exert his leadership.

I've read a few times about cabin upgrades going wrong and ending up being cabin downgrades.  Thanks for sharing about the incident.  I'll be careful when offered an upgrade.  Was offered once and it worked out but sounds like this isn't always the case.

was there anytime that required the captain to show authority or are you just speaking generally?
