One area of the 8th floor smelled of sewage the entire trip. we walked farther out of the way to avoid it.

what a disapointment, we were told the cruiselines were going to discontinue going here. Wish it would have been sooner! More time should have been spent in Juneau rather than going here!
Don't Miss: nothing worth seeing

Juneau, Alaska

Needed more time here
Don't Miss: Mendenhal glacier...we missed the Tram sine time was too limited here.

Ketchikan, Alaska

very nice
Don't Miss: Creek street is great.

Pros: Beauty of the surroundings

Cons: We felt like we were nickel and dimed for fees. 50 bucks for a sft drink card. Internet room had a charge. Gratuity included automatically plus 12 bucks a day service fees...ouch. Yes service was excellent. We concluded an all inclusive is a better package. You are captive on a ship, not much choice

Recommends Norwegian Star? No.
