Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
freestlye dining is the way to go!! Forget the specialty restaurants - save your money!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
If you liked Bingo and paying extra for stuff, there was always something to do during the day. On sea days, I would have liked a movie in the Stardust. There was variety in the evening entertainment. The quality of the entertainment, in my opinion, was very poor. Many people go up and walked out on many of the 13 nights.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The entire crew was friendly - from the cabin stewards to the dining room workers to the bartenders, all the way up to the captain. What a great group of people!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
the ship was lovely! The only complaint we had was the it would have been helpful to have floor numbers on the inside of the door jams when the elevators opened. You had to get out of the elevator to see what floor you were on.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
stateroom with balcony was fabulous

Ports of call

Puntarenas, Costa Rica

5 out of 5
my parents are ready to MOVE to Costa Rica after our 10 hours in port
Don't Miss: aerial tram and crocodile jungle safari are incredible excursions to see wildlife

Acapulco, Mexico

5 out of 5
because there is no pier to dock at we had to board tenders (boats) to get us to shore. That was a confusing hassle.
Don't Miss: hicking up the mountain to see the ancient petroglyphs was fabulous! Our guides were amazingly knowledgable and friendly

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

1 out of 5
I tried to sign up for walking tour excursion but it was full so I walked around on my own. I was not impressed with CSL as anything other that a tourist trap town.

Cartagena, Colombia

5 out of 5
I was very hesitant about even wanting to get of the ship in Cartagena. Boy am I glad I did! What a beautiful and friendly city. The old town is remarkably lovely - I felt like I could have been in any small town in Europe. Charming! If your like emeralds, buy them here
Don't Miss: horse drawn carriage ride of the old city

Huatulco, Mexico

5 out of 5
You have to see this place before it looses it's small town charm!
Don't Miss: horseback riding through the jungle was amazing! It is run by a local family who accompany the group as guides. All of the animals were well cared for

Pros: going through the Panama Canal is something that should be on everyone's 'bucket list'!

Cons: excessive hawking of raffle tickets everyday
